Hand Waxing

Hand waxing is a detailed maintenance process where a professional applies high-quality wax to the snowboard or ski base, heating and polishing it to a smooth finish. This reduces friction, enhances glide, and improves speed and stability, while extending the lifespan of the equipment. Hand waxing ensures optimal performance across different snow conditions, making it the perfect choice for maintaining peak performance.

Customized Edge Sharpening

Edge tuning is a key maintenance step for better performance and safety. Using professional equipment, it sharpens the edges of snowboards/skis for improved grip, control, and stability on snow, especially on hard or icy surfaces. This enhances turning, reduces slipping, and allows for smoother, more responsive rides.

End of Season Maintenance

End-of-season sealing protects your snowboard or skis during summer storage. The process includes cleaning, removing old wax, and applying protective wax to the base, preventing dryness, moisture absorption, and rust. Proper sealing keeps your gear in top condition for the next season, extending its life and ensuring a smoother ride when you're ready to hit the slopes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need to wax my snowboard/skis?

It's recommended to wax your snowboard/skis every 20-25 hours of riding (approximately 3-4 times), or if you notice the edges of the snowboard turning white, which also indicates the need for waxing.

When do I need to sharpen the edges?

If you see the edges of your board starting to rust, it's time for maintenance and sharpening. After each run, wipe them dry with a cloth to greatly reduce rusting. The frequency of sharpening isn't solely based on the number of runs but also the type of snow conditions. If there's a lot of ice, the edges tend to dull more quickly, resulting in less smooth gliding. If you feel like you're struggling to hold an edge or you're experiencing difficulty with the snow, it could also indicate that your edges aren't sharp enough.

What is the turnaround time? When can I pick up my board after I drop it off?

It usually takes 2-4 days, but if you need it urgently, there is an additional $5 fee per board, and you can pick it up within 24 hours.
